Inaugural winner of Brat's first talent competition series, The Talent Show. Before winning the series, she had released digital singles called "Oh Holy Night" and "Coming Home." 

Before Fame

She uploaded an Instagram video of herself at the age of five singing "White Horse" by Taylor Swift with the help of her dad on the guitar.

She played both competitive basketball and softball growing up.

Family Life

Her father had an imaginary child he called Skylie for a high school genetics project. This is where she got her unique name. Her father Davy Thompson is a musician and youth pastor. She has five siblings.
