Siniša Mihajlović

About

Former midfielder that played professionally in Serbia, Croatia, and Italy during his 20-year career. He also played for the FR Yugoslavia national football team during his career. Shortly after retiring, he began his coaching career with Inter Milan in 2016. He died at the young age of 53 after a battle with leukemia. 

Before Fame

He first began his youth soccer career playing with HNK Borovo. He was then signed to the Borovo professional team in 1986. 

Trivia

He scored exactly ten goals during his 12-year international career with FR Yugoslavia. He made exactly 63 appearances with the team during his international career. 

Family Life

Growing up, he lived with his family in Vukovar, Croatia.

He coached Lorenzo De Silvestri at Bologna F.C. during the 2022 Italian Serie A club season.
