Brazilian singer and television presenter who first gained fame in the 1980s as a member of children's music group Turma do Balão Mágico. She also launched her career as a television presenter in the 1980s when she hosted the children's television program Balão Mágico. From 1989 to 1990, she hosted Show da Simony.

She appeared on Raul Gil's Programa Raul Gil before joining Turma do Balão Mágico.

Trivia

She was the only girl in Turma do Balão Mágico. She has racked up more than 2.6 million followers on her simonycantora Instagram account, where she shares photos of herself alongside friends and family. As well as Instagram, she has also become popular on TikTok, where she posts dances and other skits on her simonycantora page.

She began dating singer and composer Felipe Rodriguez in 2020.
