Simone Fontecchio

About

Professional small forward who joined the Utah Jazz in 2022. He has played basketball in countries such as Italy, Germany and Spain during his career. While playing for Olimpia Milano from 2016 until 2019, he won three consecutive Italian Super Cups. He has also made appearances as a member of the Italy men's national team.

Before Fame

As a teenager, he played for the Italian youth national team. He was also invited to play in the 2011 Jordan Brand Classic International tour. 

Trivia

He was selected to play for the Italian men's national team during the 2020 Summer Olympics. He scored 23 points in his final 2020 Olympics match against Team France.

Family Life

His father was a professional hurdler and his grandfather played basketball. His older brother also grew up playing basketball. He has a daughter with his girlfriend, Rosa.
