Before Fame

He struggled as a teenager, and after high school, a trip to the Scottish Highlands helped him change his perspective on life. He worked in various jobs before finding footing in the news field. 

Trivia

In the year 2018, he released an autobiography that's called Step by Step: The Life in My Journeys. He is a member of the World Wide Fund for Nature. One of his most viewed YouTube videos is called "PLACES THAT DONT EXIST: SOMALILAND (episode 1 of 5)."

Family Life

His parents worked as a teacher and occupational therapist, and he has a younger brother named James. He married Anya Reeve and the couple had a son named Jake.
