Italian pop singer most popularly known for being the lead singer of the band Matia Bazar from 1999 to 2004, and again from 2010 to 2016. With the group, she participated in the Sanremo Music Festival on numerous occasions, eventually winning the contest in 2002 with the song "Messaggio d'amore." Her solo career has resulted in albums such as "Il Viaggio," "Lunatica," "5.0," and "Aspetta un Attimo." She also teaches singing at her school, The Vocal Academy, which she opened in Mazara del Vallo in 2015.
