Businessman and entrepreneur who is also known for being the husband of Jenny Craig. He co-founded the diet and weight loss company Jenny Craig Inc., alongside his wife. Craig later worked for a growing chain of women's fitness salons called Body Contour. After Body Contour grew into 200 centers nationwide, it was sold in 1982 to NutriSystem.
Before Fame
Though he was born in Canada, he was raised in Los Angeles. At California State University, Fresno, he studied business and psychology. The university later renamed its business school after him.
Trivia
His career was mostly built at dance studios such as Arthur Murray Dance Studios and Body Contour where he met his future wife. He was heavily involved in tap dancing as a child and potentially hoped to establish a career in show business for himself at one point.
Family Life
He had two children from his first marriage, and three from his second with Jenny.
