Sian Thomas

Known best for her role as Amelia Bones in the 2007 film Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, this stage and screen actress also appeared in the London West End production of the musical Spring Awakening.

Before Fame

She studied acting at London's famous Central School of Speech and Drama. Early in her career, she played the role of Cara in a television miniseries titled Nobody's Hero.

She appeared in an episode of the BBC1 fantasy series Merlin.

Family Life

Born in Stratford-Upon-Avon, England to parents of Welsh heritage, she spent a portion of her childhood in Canada. She later became the long-term partner of the award-winning English poet Tony Harrison.
