Mumbai-born screen actress whose feature film roles have spanned across numerous languages, including Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. She starred as Suma in the 2002 political drama film Kiccha before portraying Maha Lakshmi in the action movie Raghavendra the following year. She played Priya in the 2008 film Tandoori Love, which became known as "Switzerland's first Bollywood film" after its premiere at the Goa Film Festival, and she later played the role of Kaaya Shekhawat in the 2010 Bollywood horror film Shaapit.
Before Fame
She graduated from the University of Mumbai. She began her performing career by working in television, initially playing the role of Aarti on the television drama series Shagun from 2001 to 2004. She made her feature film debut in the year 2002, portraying the role of Appu in the Allari Naresh-starring rom-com Allari.
Trivia
She has starred in several music videos, including the 2001 video for the song "Saawan Mein" by Falguni Pathak. In 2006, she also appeared in the music video for a song called "Mehendi Lagaoongi Main" by Vibha Sharma.
Family Life
She married television host and Bollywood recording artist Aditya Narayan in 2020, and they welcomed their first child together, a daughter, in 2022.
