Sho Kosugi

About

Known for his ninja roles in such 1980s martial arts-themed movies as Revenge of the Ninja, Pray for Death, and Black Eagle, he also appeared in such television series as The Master and Ryūkyū no Kaze.

Before Fame

A Japanese National Karate Champion in his youth, he also trained in the judo, ninjutsu, aikido, kendo, iaido, and kobudo martial arts.

Trivia

He portrayed the character of Rikimaru in a video game called Tenchu: Stealth Assassins.

Family Life

Born in Tokyo, Japan, he later settled in Los Angeles, California. His son Kane Kosugi also had a career as an actor and martial artist.

He appeared with Franco Nero in the 1981 movie Enter the Ninja.
