Former right winger turned NHL head coach that played for the Tampa Bay Lightning during his four year playing career. Upon retiring in the year 2004, he then began coaching professionally for the Pembroke Lumber Kings of the Central Canada Hockey League in the year 2006.
Before Fame
As a teenager, he played in the 1994 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament. Just a few years later, he was taken as a second round pick by the Tampa Lightning in the 1999 NHL draft.
Trivia
While playing for the Barrie Colts, he was named the 1999 OHL Rookie of the Year. The very next season, he led the entire league in goals scored. He later signed a multi-year deal to become the head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs in November of 2019.
