Sheezan Khan

About

Indian television actor best known for his role as young Akbar/Sultan Murad Mirza in the historical drama series Jodha Akbar. He is also known for playing Ali Baba in the fantasy television series Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul. He is a frequent TEDx speaker. 

Before Fame

He graduated from the University of Mumbai. His acting career began in 2013 with Jodha Akbar. From 2016 to 2019 he starred steadily in Indian historical television series. 

Trivia

In December of 2022 his Ali Baba co-star Tunisha Sharma committed suicide in Khan's make-up room on set. Khan was arrested soon after when Sharma's mother filed a charge of abetment against him. 

Family Life

He has two older sisters, Falaq Naaz and Shafaq Naaz. He has said that his brother was the inspiration behind his portrayal of Apurva in the supernatural thriller series Nazar 2. He previously dated actress Mrinal Singh from Kundali Bhagya as well as Tunisha Sharma.
