Before Fame

When he was four-years-old, he had to have his left hand amputated after being born with a congenital defect in his fingers. Growing up he played football and then went on to play in college for the University of Central Florida. 

Trivia

He was a 5th round draft pick in 2018 for the Seattle Seahawks. The first contract he signed with the team was worth 2.8 million dollars for a four-year deal. He stands an even six feet tall and weighs close to 230 pounds.

Family Life

Raised in St. Petersburg, Florida by parents Terry and Tangie Griffin. He has a twin brother named Shaquill, who was also an NFL player.

Shaquill Griffin is his brother who plays for the Minnesota Vikings as a cornerback. Other members of the Vikings include the quarterback, Sam Darnold and wide receiver, Justin Jefferson.
