Shanti Pereira

About

Singaporean track and field athlete who has held the 100m national record and the 200m national record. At the 2023 Asian Athletics Championships, she won two gold medals in the 100m and 200m events. She also won a gold medal in the 200m event at the 2022 Asian Games. 

Before Fame

Her first encounter with track and field occurred when she saw her older sister compete in a school race. She later joined the track and field team at Singapore Sports School. In the year 2021, she graduated with an accounting degree from Singapore Management University. 

Trivia

In October of 2023, she spent some time in Seoul, South Korea. In August of 2023, she traveled to Budapest, Hungary.

She has been dating her boyfriend Zong Yang.
