Although initially born in Ohio, she grew up primarily on a farm in Indiana. She made her professional acting debut in 1977, appearing in television shows like Sirota's Court, Starsky and Hutch, and Dog and Cat.
Trivia
In 2020, she earned a Best Supporting Actress Outstanding Achievement Award from the Indie Short Fest for her performance as Carol in the short drama film Still Here. In addition to her many television guest appearances, she also starred as Jenny on the series Buck James and portrayed the recurring role of Anita on Dallas.
Family Life
She was born Mary Kay Wilcox. In 1965, she married John Williams, with whom she parented 2 children - Sean Doyle and Kelli Williams. She and Williams divorced in 1984. She later remarried to Alex Rocco in 2005, subsequently becoming stepmother to his 3 children - Marc, Jennifer, and Lucien. She and Rocco remained wed until his 2015 death.

She both performed in and executive produced the 2009 comedy film Ready or Not, with Christian Oliver, Seamus Dever, and Fernanda Romero. In the film, she portrayed the wife of a character named Don Julio, who was played by her real-life husband at the time, Alex Rocco.
