Professional canoe racer known for dominating the Triple Crown races for several decades. He won La Classique on 25 different occasions, for which he was honored for his impressive accomplishments in 2004. His best canoe event was in the General Clinton race, where he participated in the 70-mile marathon 29 times and only lost once.
