Perhaps most well known for his childhood role as Manabu on the Japanese television series Saikon Icchokusen!, Kato is also recognized for his recurring roles on Saito San (as Makoto); Ninkyo Herupa (as Ryota Hatori); and 11 Nin Mo Iru! (as Sanada Saigo).
Before Fame
At the age of two, he appeared in three episodes of the television series Manhattan Love Story.
Trivia
A voiceover artist as well as a live action performer, he contributed to the Japanese-dubbed versions of the American movies Happy Feet (2006) and Where the Wild Things Are (2009).

He was born and raised in Japan's Kanagawa Prefecture.
