Before Fame
While attending Cleveland, OH's Saint Ignatius High School, he was scouted as a top recruit his freshman year. He was required to compete against then-junior Matt Hasselbeck for the opportunity to start the 1996 season. He went on to earn both a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in management from Boston College.
