After rising to fame for her role as Dania on the popular Malaysian television series Awan Dania, she went on to star in several other Astro RIA network series, including K.I.T.A. Carefree; Kelaaas Kau Maria; and Jodoh.

Before Fame

Before beginning her acting career, she worked as an Airasia flight attendant and won a magazine-sponsored Malaysian beauty contest.

Trivia

A model as well as an actress, she participated in advertising campaigns for Avon, Bio-Essence, and Silky Shine beauty products.

Family Life

In 2012, she married model and television personality Awal Ashaari. Two years later, the couple welcomed a daughter named Lara Alana.

Associated With

She and Singapore-born actor Aaron Aziz have both been nominated for Shout! Awards, with Al-Yahya winning one of these honors in 2010.
