After recording solo albums titled Doll and Liberty, Kanda started a music group called TRUSTRICK and released her third album, Eternity. She has released 3 full-length albums with the band. As a voice actress, she is perhaps best known for her work on the animated series Good Luck Girl!

During her high school years in Los Angeles, California, she acted in a Cannes Film Festival Palme d'Or-winning short titled Bean Cake.

In 2014, she dubbed the voice of Anna in the Japanese version of the popular animated film Frozen. She has amassed over 10 movie and TV acting credits throughout her career.
