Sara Parikka

Famous for her starring role as Peppi in the Finnish television series Salatut Elamat (Secret Lives), she is also notable for playing the same character in the 2012 thriller Nightmare - Painajainen Merella and in its 2014 sequel.

Before Fame

Before making her screen acting debut in the 2009 made-for-TV movie Salatut Elamat 10 V, she graduated from Porkkalan High School in Kirkkonummi, Finland.

Family Life

Born Sara Helena Sakkinen, she spent her youth in Espoo, Finland. She and her husband, fellow Nightmare actor Mikko Parikka, welcomed their first child, Matilda, in 2014.
