Sara Duterte

Politician who is recognized for serving as the mayor of Davao City in the Philippines, she is currently serving her third elected term. She was preceded by leader Leonor Briones. Prior to being elected mayor, she served as vice mayor of Davao City from 2007 to 2010. 

Before Fame

She obtained a bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy. She originally wanted to be a pediatrician instead of a politician.

Trivia

She is a colonel in the Armed Forces of the Philippines. She has been endorsed by the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas as their vice presidential candidate. 

Family Life

She is the daughter of Rodrigo Duterte.

It is said that she was behind the ousting of Pantaleon Alvarez as House Speaker, with Gloria Macapagal Arroyo taking his place.
