Professional basketball played that was drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies as the 30th overall pick of the 2021 NBA Draft. During the 2019 FIBA U18 European Championships, he was named most valuable player of the tournament after winning the gold medal.

Before Fame

He attended University of Loyola-Maryland, where he was the only player in NCAA Division I to average more than 18 points, eight rebounds, two assists and 1.5 blocks per game during the 2020-21 NCAA season. 

Trivia

He became the first player in Patriot League history to average 20 and 10 for a season.

Family Life

He is the son of María Isabel Toledo Jiménez and Santiago Aldama Alesón. His father, Santiago, was an Olympic-medal-winning professional basketball player for the country of Spain in 1992.
