Cambodian-born reality star known for appearing on multiple seasons of American Ninja Warrior. He has competed on the show and also trained other warriors. He first competed in the fourth season of American Ninja Warrior in 2012. He once completed the course with a sprained ankle and a hand injury.
Before Fame
When he was nine years old, the Khmer Rouge forced everyone in his community to leave their homes and move to the country with what they could carry. He was forced to work in labor camps. At 12, he escaped and walked for days to the Thailand border where he was rescued by the Red Cross.
Trivia
He started his own hair salon. With his business partner, Karen Madaras, he opened Sam Sann Warriors - All Star Ninjas, a ninja gym in Houston, Texas. He also owned the gym Iron Sports Fitness.
Family Life
He moved to San Diego and then Houston. He was one of seven siblings. When he was five years old, his mother left him and his sister to be raised by his grandmother.
