Sam Moll

About

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Colorado Rockies during the third round of the 2013 Major League Draft. He was later acquired by the Oakland Athletics via trade in July 2021. He has also pitched in the Toronto Blue Jays, San Francisco Giants and Arizona Diamondbacks farm systems. 

Before Fame

Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at the University of Memphis. During his sophomore season, he was named a member of the second team All-Conference USA. 

Trivia

He made his major league debut pitching against the Seattle Mariners on September 1, 2017 as a member of the Athletics. He also pitched the very next day. Throughout the course of his major league career, he has played in over 70 games.

He is a native of Lakeland, Tennessee.
