About

Award-winning actor and film director that is most recognized for his work in the 2004 drama film The Mayors. Besides his work in the film The Mayors, he has also gained recognition from his appearances in films such as In My Country, The Lost Number, Gone, The Legend of Inikpi and many others. In addition to being an actor, he he also works as a college professor and a politician. 

Before Fame

Prior to his professional acting career, he attended the Government Comprehensive Secondary School in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Shortly after graduating, he then began going to school at the University of Port Harcourt.

Trivia

Due to his highly-acclaimed performance in the 2004 drama, The Mayors, he was named Best Actor in a Supporting Role during the African Movie Academy Awards. Just over a decade later, he received a nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role during the 2018 African Movie Academy Awards after his performance in the film In My Country.

Family Life

He and his wife, Tammy Sam-Dede, got married in the year 2001. He is a native of Lagos, Nigeria.
