Baseball coach and former professional catcher whose on-field career, which spanned over a decade, led him to play for a total of 9 different Major League Baseball teams, some of which include the Colorado Rockies, the Baltimore Orioles, and the Cleveland Guardians. After his 2009 retirement, he began a coaching career and went on to serve as manager of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and the Mobile BayBears, and later as catching instructor for the Atlanta Braves

Before Fame

After graduating from Hoffman Estates High School, he went on to attend the University of Evansville, where he played at the Division I. He played 3 seasons in the minor leagues before debuting in the Major League for the Kansas City Royals in 1996. 

Trivia

With a total of 16 HBPs for the year, he also came in 2nd in the 1998 American League. As catching instructor, he helped lead the Atlanta Braves to their 2021 World Series Championship win. He was also given the title of Double-A Manager of the Year after he coached the New Hampshire Fisher Cats toward winning the 2011 Eastern League Championship.

He was born to Vincent and Nella Fasano. He and his wife Kerri Kubinski have 3 children - Angelo, Santino, and Vincenzo.
