Before Fame
He graduated from Thousand Oaks High School and dropped out of art school in San Francisco. His work can be seen all throughout Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Trivia
In 1997, he created his most famous piece at the Los Angeles River. It took 97 gallons of paint and 35 nights to complete. He recreated the piece in diorama form in 2004 for the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.
Family Life
He can often be seen on his instagram account with his wife and two children who are also learning to paint.

Has collaborated with fellow artist Shepard Fairey on a mural on Sunset Blvd. in Echo Park.
