Before Fame
He earned a bachelor's degree in theater from Ball State University in 2002. In 2005, he made his on-screen debut playing the role of Wade in the comedy film The Bonnie Situation. 3 years later, he would earn his 1st television role, playing a Guard on 2 episodes of As the World Turns.

He has had voiceover roles in video games such as Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Dead Redemption. He also received a Best Vocal Ensemble in a Video Game nomination from the Behind the Voice Actors Awards in 2014 for his voice acting work in the video game Grand Theft Auto V.
