Professional pitcher that was drafted by the San Diego Padres during the first round of the 2018 MLB Draft. He began his professional career playing for the Padres' rookie affiliate team the AZL Padres.

Before Fame

Prior to being drafted, he attended Loretto High School where he was named the Gatorade National Baseball Player of the Year in 2018.

Trivia

He made his major league debut pitching against the Los Angeles Dodgers during Game 1 of the 2020 National League Division Series on October 6, 2020.

Family Life

He is a native of Loretto, Tennessee. His father, David Weathers, is a former major league pitcher and played for the World Series-winning 1996 New York Yankees.
