Former defenseman, athlete, and hockey player that played hockey professionally for the White Caps Turnhout, Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees and the Cape Cod Bluefins during his career. Shortly after retiring, he then began his professional coaching career in the year 2012. Nearly a decade later, he was named head coach of the San Jose Sharks.
Before Fame
He initially began his collegiate hockey career at Sacred Heart University. After two seasons, he then transferred to Curry College.
Trivia
After being named head coach of San Jose Sharks in June of 2024, he became the youngest head in the entire NHL. In the process, he also became the first Jewish head coach in the NHL since the 1990s. He stands five feet, nine inches tall and weighs 185 pounds.
Family Life
Growing up, he lived with his parents and his brother, David, in Marshfield, Massachusetts. He now lives along with his wife and their children.
