He has also competed in the World Golf Championships as well as the The Players Championship and the Web.com Golf Tour.
Before Fame
Prior to his PGA tour career, he played golf in college at the University of Georgia. As a junior in 2010, he was given the Fred Haskins Award, for being the best collegiate golfer.
Trivia
He made history in 2013, after becoming the first rookie to win the Sony Open since 2001. His 256 (-24) golf score is the lowest score ever recorded at the Sony Open. In October of 2023, he was named the 25th best men's golfer in the world.

He lives with his wife, Teil, and their three children. They all live together in Columbus, Georgia.
