He was frequently seen on various television commercials from the 1980's on, advertising multiple products such as the Veg-O-Matic, the Pocket Fisherman and Mr. Microphone. He also made cameo appearances on television shows such as Futurama, King of the Hill, Sex and the City, The Simpsons and The Daily Show.
