American puppeteer, entertainer, artist, performer, and actor who is known for his work on Sesame Street in seasons 20-33, Elmo's Word (1998-2009), his work with Jim Henson's Muppets, and on the Broadway musical Avenue Q (2004).
Before Fame
He studied theater at Penn State University. He then studied puppetry at the Institute of Professional Puppetry Arts in Connecticut, and he also studied at the Institut Internationale de la Marionnette in France.
Trivia
He owns The Lyon Puppets, which is a puppet design and manufacturing workshop that creates puppets used in a wide variety of different projects. He created the puppets for the live national tour of PBS's The Magic Schoolbus.
