Known as "White Boy Rick," he rose to fame as the youngest FBI informant in the agency's history at age 14 while living outside of Detroit, Michigan in the mid-1980's. He was later arrested at age 17 for selling cocaine, and later sentenced to life without parole.
Before Fame
He served as an informant for the FBI between the ages of 14 and 16. He began selling drugs at age 16, as he could not escape the life he had begun in Detroit's criminal underworld.
Trivia
A movie based on his life called White Boy Rick was released in 2018. He was later granted parole in Michigan in 2017 after serving nearly 30 years.
Family Life
His father was a police and FBI informant, and he initially joined him in giving tips.
