Rhian Teasdale

British musician who rose to fame in 2021 for her band Wet Leg's debut single "Chaise Longue," which has racked up millions of plays on Spotify. Wet Leg released their self-titled debut album the following year. She and her best friend are the two leaders and songwriters of the band.

Before Fame

Before forming Wet Leg with her friend Hester Chambers, she performed music under the name Rhain.  The two future band mates initially became friends at Isle of Wight College. 

Trivia

Wet Leg's debut album topped the charts in Australia and the United Kingdom. All of the songs on their first album racked up over 1 million listens each on Spotify within the first few months that it was released.  

Family Life

She is from the Isle of Wight, England. She had dated her fellow bandmate, Douglas Richards, from 2013 until 2019.

Her output as Rhain has invited comparisons to the music of Björk, and she has cited the Icelandic singer-songwriter as an influence.
