Reza Diako

About

Award-winning television and film actor best known for his role as Shahin in the 2020 Apple TV+ action series Tehran. He is also known for his appearances in The Persian Version, Tummyache, and the HBO Max comedy series I Hate Suzie. He was later cast to star as Haadee in the 2023 action film The Covenant. 

Before Fame

Prior to his professional acting career, he attended Queen Mary University in London, England. After starring in a few independent films, he then enrolled in the London Identity School of Acting. 

Trivia

Due to his highly acclaimed performance in the 2022 action film Tummyache, he was named 'Best Actor' during the 2022 Top Indie Film Awards. He was also named 'Best Actor" during the 2022 Virgin Spring Cinefest. 

Family Life

Although he was born in Geneva, Switzerland, he grew up living with his family in Tehran, Iran. He was born of both Iranian and Austrian descent.

He co-starred alongside Emily Beecham in the action film The Covenant.
