Football legend and former athlete who is best known for being a defensive back for the Baltimore Colts and Buffalo Bills. He was the quarterback for the Ohio State University Buckeyes from 1968 to 1970. He was selected in the tenth round of the 1971 NFL draft by the Colts.

He attended Lancaster High School where he was a star athlete. He committed to Ohio State to play both basketball and baseball.
Trivia
In 2022, he released a book titled The Road to the Horseshoe and Beyond: How a Small-Town Athlete Benefited from Ohio State Football to Build a Life. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2007. He stands five feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds.
Family Life
He met his wife Nancy at the 1969 Rose Bowl, where she was a Rose Bowl Princess. They had sons named Michael and John-Ryan.
