Reuben James Butler

British singer, songwriter, and pianist known for his jazz expertise and soulful voice. An independent artist, he released music through his own label, Rufio Records. His debut album, Champagne Kisses, was released in 2023. 

Before Fame

Reuben began playing piano at the age of three. During his teenage years, he performed at jazz nights, joined the Notebenders big band, and studied jazz at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire's Saturday school. At 17, he joined Abram Wilson's band, and after earning a scholarship to Trinity College of Music, he briefly attended but dropped out to tour with Sam Smith, marking the start of his professional career.

In March 2024, the jazz artist celebrated 20 Million streams and his 30th birthday on the same day. 

Family Life

Growing up in a musically rich household, he was introduced to artists like Frank Sinatra and Bob Dylan through his father's vinyl collection. His sister, nine years older, exposed him to pop groups like NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys. Reuben married and had a son, whom he has brought to concerts, inspiring him at a young age.
