Social media star whose enthrallment with and knowledge of vintage style from the 1930's and '40s has helped him earn over 170,000 followers on his retro_samuel Instagram account. His content has primarily focused on showcasing vintage clothing, reviews of products befitting the time period, and story-themed videos. He has collaborated with brands including Cetrina Watches, On the Sunny Side vintage-style clothing, Herr Von Welt, and Jaxon & James. 

Before Fame

He worked as a cook in school kitchen before he unfortunately contracted COVID-19. This led to long-term complications from the virus which he has openly discussed on his social media accounts. He has stated that his interest in the 1930's and '40s has been a lifelong fascination, stemmed from his parents, grandparents, and films of the time period.

Trivia

In February of 2021, he was interviewed by P4 Extra - Sveriges Radio Show. They also showcased some of his vintage outfits and the story of his passion for the style of the 1940's in an article posted on their Facebook page titled "Borrow the Style of Samuel."

Family Life

His birth name is Samuel Lindblad. He began dating "Somewear in Time" blogger Kelly in February of 2022. They met on Instagram and connected over their shared love of 1940's style and history. Despite their distance, as she is from the United States, they have appeared together in several photos and videos. They announced their engagement in July of 2023.
