Rees Jones

Golf course architect who served as president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects. He designed notable courses such as Pinehurst #7 in North Carolina and reconstruction of Torrey Pines in California.

As a child, he was exposed to gold course design by his father and famous gold course architect Robert Trent Jones.

He was awarded Golf Digest's Best New Private Course in America for his design on The Golf Club at Briar's Creek in South Carolina.

His father in Robert Trent Jones and his younger brother is Robert Trent Jones, Jr.
