Before Fame
He started his management career in 1993 as an assistant with the Ottawa Senators. He joined the expansion Nashville Predators in 1998.
Trivia
As a hockey player, he was drafted 216th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in 1982. He went on to play at St. Lawrence University, but didn't pursue a professional career.
