Bulgarian-born, Macedonian atomic physicist who was known for his membership in the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts. He was awarded the Research Award from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in 2004.

He received his Ph.D. from the University of Belgrade in 1968.
