About
United States Army Delta Force soldier who is known for his service in the Battle of Mogadishu, during the Operation Gothic Serpent in October 1993. The battle would go on to be portrayed in the film Black Hawk Down.
Before Fame
After graduating from high school and passing basic training, he was assigned to the 2nd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment.
Trivia
8 years after joining the rangers he was assigned to join Delta Force.
Family Life
His father was a member of the Air Force, but moved the family to Pennsylvania and became a dairy farmer when Randy was a boy.
