Photographer, writer, and former photo editor at Vanity Fair best who is best known for her involvement in the high-profile case of Anna Sorokin (also known as Anna Delvey), a Russian-born con artist who posed as a wealthy New York socialite.

Before Fame

She was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. She graduated from Kenyon College with a degree in English and studio art in 2010. She moved to New York City to pursue her passion for photography. She began working at Vanity Fair in 2010. She met Anna Sorokin in February 2016.

She has been featured in several media outlets, including The New York Times, Time Magazine, and Good Morning America. She accused Anna Sorkin of conning her out of $62,000 dollars. She played a key role in exposing Anna Sorokin's crimes and is the author of the memoir My Friend Anna: The True Story of a Fake Heiress.

She was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. Her parents are both clinical psychologists.
