About
French stunt double, assistant director, and occasional actor who was also a rallycross and motocross champion. He is best known for his stunts in six James Bond films and his work in Citroen and Renault car commercials.
Before Fame
He lived in the south of France, and as a child was dared to ride his bicycle over a canal, which inspired him to start motocross. He played a German army motorcyclist in the 1966 film, La Grande Vadrouille.
Trivia
He coordinated the BMC Mini chase scene in The Italian Job.
Family Life
He had three children: Michel, Dominique, and Diane. Michel and Dominique are stunt drivers/coordinators.
