Count Felix of Monpezat

About

Formerly known as Prince Felix of Denmark, he is known for being in the line of succession to the Danish throne. He was confirmed in the Church of Denmark on April 1, 2017 at the Fredensborg Palace. 

Before Fame

He was born at Rigshospitalet at Copenhagen University Hospital. He attended pre-school at the Garnison Church in Copenhagen and then attended Krebs School in Østerbro where his father and brother also attended. 

Trivia

While he was given his official title of "His Highness Prince Felix of Denmark" at his birth, he wasn't awarded his title as "Count of Monpezat" until April of 2008 when Queen Margrethe II granted the title to her male-line descendants. 

Family Life

He was born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is the younger son of Prince Joachim and Alexandra, Countess of Frederiksborg.

As part of the line of succession to the Danish throne, he was preceded by Prince Nikolai and succeeded by Prince Henrik.
