Brazilian racing driver who distinguished himself with a career that's spanned races in America and Europe. In October 2014, Fittipaldi was one of four drivers to be invited to join the Ferrari Driver Academy and in February 2018, he was named a part-time driver of the No. 19 Honda for Dale Coyne Racing in the Verizon IndyCar Series.
Before Fame
Fittipaldi began his racing career in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series, winning the track championship at Hickory Motor Speedway in 2011, before moving to Europe to pursue a career in open-wheeled racing in 2013.
Trivia
In May 2018 Fittipaldi broke both legs in a crash during qualifying for the World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps race.
