Broadcast journalist, author and radio show host known for his career that spanned decades. He wrote two books on child protection and the child welfare system in Canada, as well as the host of The Peter Silverman Show. He held a PhD in History from the University of Toronto. His work was also published in Globe & Mail. He also worked in the UK from 1953-1968, serving at The Institute on Race Relations.
