American criminal and boss of the American-Italian mafia group the Gambino family. He is the older brother of John Gotti, who was the previous boss of the same mafia group. In 2004 he was formally charged with extortion, money laundering, and racketeering, and spent the rest of his life in custody. He died while in prison in North Carolina.

He grew up in Brooklyn, New York with a large family. He was involved with the mafia by the age of 21.

He was known by the nickname One Eye because of his partial blindness.
Family Life
He was one of 13 total siblings. He married his wife Catherine in 1960 and they had one child. The two divorced in 2006.
